Mission STatement
To touch the lives of those incarcerated, to restore hope through the love of Jesus Christ for closer and personal relationship. To present salvation through faith, a clear understanding of the Gospel and to encourage them to lead spiritual and productive lives.
Vision
Our vision for the future is to continue expanding the ministry and reaching the lost throughout Mississippi Jails, Prisons and Youth Detention Centers.
We are currently looking for men and women of God who have a heart for those who are in bondage.
We are also seeking funds and aid in developing job training and employment opportunities to men and women in transition. We see the need for a Resource Center offering computer literacy classes, job search/resume assistance and other transitional services.
As inmates are released they frequently face the problem of finding work, housing and meaningful relationships and many times revert back to prior habits such as theft, drug use and selling. Statistics show that in Mississippi 30% of inmates will return to prison within the first year of freedom. Part of the vision is to assist with housing, guidance and support in order to aid them in returning to society and living out the Christian life with joy, fullfillment and give them a sense of hope and purpose.
